ViennaBLOOM Collection

With the ViennaBLOOM Collection I have created my own world.
Bowls. Tiles. Artworks.
Rich in colour. Accented with gold.

Vienna is my artistic frame of reference.
The imperial splendour of the Baroque.
The ornament of Art Nouveau.
The city's rich musical heritage.

The bowl series PAPAGENA is named after Mozart's Magic Flute.
For me, Vienna, music, and ornament belong together.

Creating these works gives me the same joy I once experienced while skating on ice.
The ornament flows from my hands, just as I once glided across the ice.
From figure skating to modelling.
Movement transformed into clay.

Slowly, each object takes shape.
And begins its own dance.

Each bowl.
Each tile.
Each artwork.
A unique piece.

Some works in the ViennaBLOOM Collection were created especially for the Österreichische Werkstätten, where selected pieces are permanently exhibited and available.
